Being a female leader is hard.

Now, factor in owning a business, being at an executive level, or working your way to the top - your challenges just skyrocketed. Life's ups and downs are interconnected, and at Knew House this is something we understand wholeheartedly.

Knew House was built to bring women together to share these unique experiences, to connect on a deeper level, and have assurance that you are not alone in business, and in life.

The need for connection stemmed from a large gap in the business and networking industry in Winnipeg, Canada. Our Founder, Leilah Perchaluk, saw the missing piece and set out to make the change.

Knew House is nothing to some, but, it's everything to me.

My name is Leilah Perchaluk, and I am the Founder of Knew House.

I started my career in the life insurance industry; a male dominated line of work where I stuck out like a sore thumb. I am young, female, and ambitious, and although those are all wonderful traits to have, I was lacking connection with women who were in a similar position to me. When I realized that this was an issue that was holding me back, I set out to solve the problem. I tried it all - networking groups, coaching calls, online communities, and even hosting my own insurance events for business owners with the hope of developing relationships with like-minded women. To no avail, it was time to create and build something of my own.

Knew House began from my need to feel understood, be heard, feel seen, and most of all, not feel alone - I came to realize this was a need that so many women had, and Knew House provides them a space to fill this gap.

In the past year, Knew House has grown to provide value to 65+ women in various industries and cities. I am very proud and excited for what is to come as we expand across the country, and nurture the members and the incredible things they are accomplishing every day.
